Subject Vision

We are scientists

Curious                Confident                Critical

Curious: We encourage our pupils to be curious about the natural world, asking "why" and "how" about everything they observe. Driving scientific inquiry and helping them explore the world around them.

Confident: We foster confidence in our pupil's ability to engage with science, reminding them that it's okay to make mistakes or not have all the answers. Through hands-on experiences and exploration, pupils build self-assurance in conducting experiments, solving problems, and understanding complex concepts.

Critical: We teach children to think critically by evaluating scientific information. Helping them develop the skills to question data, test ideas, and assess the validity of scientific claims, cultivating a thoughtful and analytical approach to science.
